Name: Josephine (Jo)
Human birthday: 18th June - she is unsure of the year.
Age she was changed: 16
Personality: She is very shy when unsure of the people around her, which is what leads her to use her gift. She is not often stubborn, and generally wants to give people what they want, if she can. She doesn't really have her own sense of identity, and finds it hard to show people who she really is inside, as she isn't so sure herself. This is partly due to her gift, but also because she has so many sides to her personality. She tends to just pick one that works in that particular situation. She will generally try to remain inconspicuous, and hidden, so that she doesn't have to choose.
Gift/Description: She can change her appearance at will. As a human, she developed a talent of being unnoticeable to keep herself safe from those that would hurt her. When she was bitten this habit obviously got more powerful. However, her talent is merely a mind trick. As she puts it, she starts with a blank canvas (her natural looks) and merely switches certain features to those she has already "stored" in her mind. Whatever look she takes on can fool people with its texture. E.g. if she wanted you to think she had an afro, you wouldn't only see it, but if you put out your hand you would also feel the texture of it. She doesn't tend to keep to one disguise for long. (The more different the "mask" is from her actual looks, the more energy it takes for her to keep it up. Also, when she is tired and doesn't concentrate, the mask can slip, and her true features are revealed).
Interests: She loves to study people. If she could do it without attracting attention, she would sit on a park bench and watch people all day. All the emotions and impulses of humans, and even other vampires, inspire her no end. This is probably because she feels that she is a rather empty person, compared to others.
Other: She is not vegetarian, having never considered another way to gain energy (besides, she sees it as an extension of her human-studies. Evil? Or just a bit childish? xD). She does have excellent self control though, and tries her hardest not to kill her prey (she tends to carry minor tranquilisers around with her, to make the whole operation easier). She feeds mostly off men, as they are easier to seduce when she alters certain aspects of herself. Obviously, she changes her eye colour so as not to arouse suspicion in humans. She never reveals their true red hue.

Yeah - I thought it would be fun to make her a non-veggie too ^^. I only added the tranquiliser bit so that maybe she could bump into Carlisle? And the people-watching obsession would be interesting to try out if she was to spend a while at school...it would certainly test her self control, heh heh.
